May I recommend this report to you as it sets out the early thinking of the UK on the subject of Active Learning for Active Citizenship (ALAC). I am leading a small project locally in South
Yorkshire and I send a copy of our workplan for the year which again gives an idea of our range of activities. Also attached is a copy of a report to our organisation's executive body (NEC) which
sets out proposals about 2005 The EU Year of Citizenship through Education.
